12th International Coral Reef Symposium
It has been an exciting year organising ICRS 2012 with the fabulous response to our Call for Abstracts, continued support with new sponsors signing up and now the response from people around the world for assistance with the costs to attend. We are looking forward to an even busier 2012 confident that next July’s Symposium is going to be invigorating, informative and fun for all attending.

If you submitted an abstract, you should have received an email this week confirming that your abstract has been allocated to either a:
  • 15 minute oral presentation
  • 5 minute speed presentation OR
  • Poster presentation
If you have not received this email confirming your allocation, please check your Junk Mail folder. If you have not received an email from us, please email info@icrs2012.com with an alternative email address or a postal address so we can send you this important correspondence.
Presenter registration

To confirm your participation as a presenter at ICRS 2012 you need to register by 1 February 2012. Your presentation slot will then be confirmed and your abstract will be included in the Book of Abstracts. If you choose not to register by this date, you will forfeit your presentation slot and we will offer it to another delegate.

If you register and wish to submit a manuscript for the Proceedings, you can now upload your paper. The deadline for submission is Thursday 1 March 2012. However, we encourage you to submit your manuscript earlier if possible to afford you a longer period to undertake any revisions suggested by your Mini-Symposium Chair.
Early-bird registration

For those of you attending ICRS 2012 but not presenting an abstract, early bird registration closes 1 March 2012. Register by this date to receive a substantial discount off the cost of registration.
