The ICRS 2012 Organising Committee invites you to submit an abstract for oral/poster presentation at ICRS 2012. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Chair of the Mini-Symposia.

Deadline for submissions of original abstracts is 1 October 2011.

Before submitting your abstract via the Speakers Portal, please carefully read the below guidelines.

Abstract Guidelines

  • Only abstracts submitted in English will be reviewed.
  • Abstracts should be original work, not previously presented at an international meeting.
  • Your abstract is to be a maximum of 250 words and should describe the scientific content of the presentation.
  • If selected to present your abstract, you will be required to register for ICRS 2012 and pay the registration fee.
  • You must obtain consent from co-authors prior to submission.

General Information

The abstract must contain:

  • An introductory sentence indicating the purpose of the study – titled Introduction
  • A brief description of methods – titled Methods
  • A summary of new data arising from this study – titled Results
  • A conclusion and context statement – titled Conclusion
  • References critical to the abstract. Use limited reference detail (e.g. Smith, JA 1999).
  • Disclosure of conflict of interest

The abstract will appear in print as submitted.

Please note that each delegate is permitted to present only ONE abstract (in addition to plenary and semi-plenary presentations). There is a strict policy of one abstract per presenter.

Once you have submitted your abstract via the Speakers Portal above, you will be able to log in using your personalised Access Key and view or edit your abstract up until 1 October 2011.

Successful Presenters will be notified on the status of their abstract by mid-December 2011.

All presenters of accepted abstracts will be expected to pay the Symposium registration fee.

Abstracts will not be accepted for inclusion into the program or abstract book until the registration fee is paid.

The deadline for Presenters to register is 1 February 2012.
